When we talk about love in the business sense, we’re talking about a deep-rooted and intrinsic care for other humans.

Love in the workplace means working as a team with good communication. It means putting other people before yourself.

Human care creates a ripple effect throughout everything people touch in an organisation. It means focusing on humanity, not just profits.

What is healthy culture?

Culture is about the emotional environment you create and the behaviours that build it.

A healthy, thriving culture is a human culture. People treat each other as human beings and are confident that others will treat them the same.

They are empowered to make proactive decisions. They are entrusted to do the right thing. They are free to bring their full selves to work, rather than a stripped-down version that leaves them complacent and unsatisfied.

Golden Rule vs Platinum Rule,

The golden rule says: treat others as you would want to be treated yourself.

Whereas, the Platinum rule says: treat others as they would want to be treated. When you show empathy for their own perspective and experiences, you will be better able to help them.

Follow The Platinum Rule.

The 2-Steps process to complete a big task:

The first one knows your why and the second one is to make micro-commitments.

1. Know you're why. It’s your motivator to keep pushing forward when your efforts feel as if they have stalled — the superpower that will help you to see past the small roadblocks and continue full speed ahead.

2. Make micro-commitments. These bring you small, tangible wins inside of a massive, abstract effort. It’s much easier to commit to writing a single thank-you note than it is to build better relationships.

Your job isn’t to be perfect all the time. Your job is to bring your ideas to the table and to create a successful organisation. A successful organisation is nothing but a series of mistakes that turned into opportunities.

Let go of ego, and drop the fear of failure.
